How to End SOP?

I am not sure how to end my SOP. I don't want to say something trite like "It would be an honor to attend your school, blah blah blah" but I don't want to just end abruptly either. Any ideas? How did you end your SOP?

For my M.A. apps I ended with "Your department is an excellent milieu in which to pursue my interests because..." Hope this helps!

...or something to that effect.

I do not consider the X program at the School of Awesomesauce a convenient means to an end—I believe it is the best path to my academic and professional goals.

Except, you know, using real names and words and such.

I wonder how adcomms would react to the use of "School of Awesome" or similar derivatives...

TypeA, thanks for the laugh! I think the adoms would get a kick out of that but somehow I don't see that enhancing my chances of admission

I'd accept you immediately if "Awesomesauce" was in an application. Perhaps consider it a new middle name? lol
