Th reason I am attracted to the program is because they have a wide variety of departments to choose classes from and the ability to be trained in many languages. tt503 Posted November 3, 2011 Share Posted November 3, 2011 I don't know about Early Christian Studies, but I was accepted to the PhD program in Semitic Philology without funding...I think this is quite common, as the fellowships (at least in this department) were university determined (which I gathered are basically based off of quantitative factors such as GRE/GPA), not departmentally determined.
