mhenna04 Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 (edited) Hi, I am a B.A(Hons.) Political Science graduate from India. I have always been interested in arts but never thought of it as a career choice earlier. However, now, I am a painter and a studio potter. Have hosted a painting exhibition last year and is planned for Dec 2011. Also, as far as pottery is concerned, I have been attending a private course for the past 6 months and have starting producting my own pottery work (beginner). Now since I have already taken it up as a career choice, I would like to gain a professional degree in Visual Arts from a reputed Art School. I just wanted to know that with a non-Art educational background, do I stand a chance in getting into Masters degree courses in Arts? If yes, which ones will be the best schools to look at (preferably in Europe and Asia) with the minimum course duration (preferably 1 year)? Any advise, suggestions would be very helpful! Thanks.
