mdietz Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Hello, I am currently working in Ad Sales at The History Channel, but am looking to go back to school for a M.ED. in School Psychology. This is my game plan: Volunteer- East Harlem Tutorial Program (reading comprehension with 5th graders) Get Pereq’s and research experience at Hunter College Take GRE’s I currently have a 3.3 GPA at Umass Amherst and am hoping to raise that score with the prereq's I will be taking. I am interested in the M.ED. program at UCONN and Umass Amherst and would love an assistantship as well. I was wondering if anyone could give me any helpful information, tips, or advice about my plan of attack. Thanks!
amandacarol1215 Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Is the M.ED. program NASP accredited? I know that you will want to go to a NASP accredited program, particularly if you want to be credentialed as a School Psychologist. I went through the application process last year, let me know if there is anything I can do to help!
