Hello,

I am currently working in Ad Sales at The History Channel, but am looking to go back to school for a M.ED. in School Psychology. This is my game plan:

Volunteer- East Harlem Tutorial Program (reading comprehension with 5th graders)

Get Pereq’s and research experience at Hunter College

Take GRE’s

I currently have a 3.3 GPA at Umass Amherst and am hoping to raise that score with the prereq's I will be taking. I am interested in the M.ED. program at UCONN and Umass Amherst and would love an assistantship as well.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any helpful information, tips, or advice about my plan of attack.

Thanks!

Is the M.ED. program NASP accredited? I know that you will want to go to a NASP accredited program, particularly if you want to be credentialed as a School Psychologist. I went through the application process last year, let me know if there is anything I can do to help!
