That link is helpful if you're looking at IPE, but IPE is just a subset of PE. A lot of political science programs have people interested in some form of political economy; can you be more specific?

thanks that link is good...I'm mostly interested in the IPE aspect, intl. trade, finance and the effects of globalization

Hi all,

I'm the Director of Graduate Studies in CU-Boulder's Political Science Department. While I certainly won't disagree with previous posts that Harvard, Wisconsin, and UCSD are the top places to study political economy, I'd also urge potential applicants to take a look at the quality of our faculty in the area. PE is one of our area's of strength, both in comparative and IR.

Funny you should mention CU Boulder...it is already on my list to apply to actually. I just wanted to see if I was missing any "big" programs for PE/IR

@Professor Baker

I just read a paper of yours on trade policy beliefs (the one published in AJPS) that I really liked! I'll keep CU Boulder in mind for the future.
