Lolita Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 What are schools looking for in the LORs? Testimony to how well we can research? Ability to work with people? What do you think? Thanks, Lola
elsie Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 (edited) My school required one LOR but recommended two. I had one from the undergraduate professor who supervised my practicum. He was able to talk about my grades, research ability, etc. I also had a letter from a former employer who was able to discuss work ethic, professionalism, and things like that. I got in, so I guess that worked out okay. Edited November 8, 2011 by elsie
ktel Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Depends on the program you're going into. For a research-based program, your ability to do research. If it was course-based you might want them to talk more about course work. In general your ability to succeed should be stressed.
