MIT MS or MS/PhD worth a try?

GPA: 3.95/4.0 top U in the US. major rank top 25 in the US. stayed for two years and a half (EE)

4.0/4.0 some unknown college in the US . no rank

80/100.... a top 50 university in China not the same major (economics.... not related to EE at all)

GRE: 730+800+4.5

research: 6 month research in bioEE. senior design research in image processing

ethnicity: Chinese Asian Female, alien.

applying to signal processing concentration.

Is it possible to be admitted to the MS program? is it worth a try?

The phd seems to be too hard for me.
