What to do if school doesn't specify WS length?

Hi all,

I'm applying to a few schools where the possible length of WS is a bit vague - some say nothing at all (or I certainly can't find anything).

If they don't specify, does that mean any length is fine? I know they often have 2MB size limit but due to file size reduction magic I can make 35 pages (+ pictures) under 2MB...so thats not a problem.

If possible, ad coms usually expect a thesis chapter/seminar paper. So no less than 20 and no more than 30 pages I would say. That's what my professors told me.

fewer than 20 pages is fine too -- probably preferable if you're able to make a tight and compelling argument.
