-hermes- Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 It seems that quite a few applicants email admissions committees to check whether their GRE reports were received by the school - is this common practice? I'm a little paranoid that my reports won't reach since I have no way of tracking them, but I'm sure adcomms wouldn't be too happy if they received a barrage of emails from applicants about score reports.
Rachel B Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Generally, people aren't directly emailing admissions committees. They're contacting academic coordinators, support staff, etc. (ie: people who deal with paperwork & questions, not your admission decision). You can just call the main office phone number or email the office at the contact address. They shouldn't have an issue doubling checking to make sure all your materials are in.
LCBucky Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 I emailed the schools I applied to just to make sure. I'm glad I did because apparently half of them claim they have not received my scores! Not sure what that's all about....checking with ETS right now.
