Fake Admits and Rejections Posted on GC Today

Hey Y'alls,

Today the following were reported on GC:

1. A few admits to Wharton stats

2. A few rejections from Berkeley

3. An admit to Princeton "Applied Math & Stat"

4. An admit to Duke Decision Sciences

I've already reported those as spam. I know for a fact they're fake. My coworkers, who know I'm hooked to both gradcafe and my refresh button, posted those to mess with me. I'd hoped GC quickly removed them, but apparently they haven't. Sorry for the mess. I've already scolded them for messing w/ people as they were not aware of how many ppl check thae site. I really hope nobody was too bothered, but I just wanted to make everyone aware. I've also posted this message on the MathGRE site.

Ha. I thought it was strange that Wharton had apparently separated out applied statistics and theoretical statistics!

I'm checking the site all the time as well so you are not alone. Good luck to all and don't be stressed! :]

Just FYI, most of us mods don't have the power to edit the results section, so you have to wait for the owner to do that...

Actually, if enough people flag a result as spam, it's automatically removed.
