I hate my undergrad school.....................

They can't send a simple transcript! One of my schools STILL has not recieved one. I requested one in DECEMBER. I then requested another one last week..................IT STILL HASN'T ARRIVED. I called them today and the cute little bimbo blamed it on the mail being "slow". I have to pay them for every transcript request, and I paid more for prompt service!

I'm giving them until monday, and then they are getting a angry phone call and I am not getting off until someone explains this to me.

Odd that a professor who screwed up a rec. letter sent something this week TO THE EXACT SAME ADDRESS. And that arrived already.

It's my first choice school, and even though their deadline is late, I hoped to have an answer early to maybe get a better chance at funding (I really can't afford to not have any funding.)

I hope those idiots realize that they are messing with people's futures. If I don't get into a school I can afford......................I'm done. I have no other options and no idea what I'll do.

Did you apply to UW's online program? I've heard it's good, and I think they accept a large percentage of applicants, so even if your application is reviewed later (due to transcripts), you should be OK. Good luck -- that sounds really frustrating.

I applied to UW brick and mortar program, but checked the box that said..........consider me for online if no room or somesuch.

My top choice is Buffalo.........combination of convience and price. A MLS isn't worth 50K in debt. UBC is my second choice.

Pro tip: Don't call administrative workers "cute little bimbos" when you are using your name for a screen name (with the same user image as your FB account, no less).

There may be a reason why your transcripts are getting "lost" so frequently.

I agree.. I think there is a reason that most people on such forums don't use their real names.. It's easy to say the "wrong" things on a faceless forum such as this one and nobody would want it to be traced back to them.. If I were you, I would make sure I edit that thing out, just to be on the safer side..

And regarding your original post, I can understand what you must be going through..Don't delay it any further, talk to someone higher up if needed..

I was worried that my UG uni would be slow in sending out transcripts too so I ordered them so that they came to ME in sealed, signed envelopes and then I organized all my packets and sent them to the unis I applied to myself with delivery confirmations from USPS.

So far, none of the unis I applied to have said that they can't accept these transcripts and I got an interview so it must be fine.

Perhaps if you still have problems, you might do this and then you'll have the peace of mind that it's DONE.

You may want to look into a transcript/reference service in the future (it's helpful so you don't have to keep bugging your undergrad).
