Has anyone else applied to UConn? What does it say for you? I've sent them an email but I'm afraid I won't get a response until Monday.

Hi, I had something similar happen with my UConn application. I called the admissions office last week, and they told me they were still in the process of matching materials with applications and that is why it says incomplete. Hope this eases your "freak out". It'd probably still be a good idea to follow up with them though. Another school had my materials, but didn't match them with my application so it wasn't sent out for review until I called them. Good luck! :]

It has taken them forever to upload and verify my GRE scores. I had hoped that it would be the one school that I might get into; I highly doubt my app will even be reviewed now considering that the department will have received it a month after the deadline ):

I had the same problem with UConn. For a few weeks, they just told met that they were still matching materials, but finally once all of the materials were definitely there and the status still said incomplete, I called and they switched it over for me. It's very likely that if they've already reviewed applications, it wasn't a problem since all of the materials were clearly there. The lady who I spoke to when I fixed my application status a couple weeks after the deadline said not to worry about it.

I guess I'm still worried because it's 3 weeks since the deadline and judging from last year's schedule, they start sending out acceptance emails in 2-3 weeks. But I guess there's not really anything I can do about it until Monday, sooooooooooo.

If you check the results survey, it seems like in previous years people did not get notified of acceptances into the physics program at UConn until late February. So I definitely wouldn't be freaking out.

After seeing this thread, I checked my application; it says the same thing. However, it also shows that everything has been submitted. A few days before the deadline, I contacted the English Department to ensure they had all of my materials, and they confirmed that they did. It's just curious and disconcerting that my application still reads incomplete. I just contacted the graduate admissions office, so hopefully I'll hear something soon.

Just to follow up, I called up the physics department and they said I was set and my application was being considered. My email to grad admissions resulted in them switching it over to "complete." So yeah I would contact them to make sure but it should be fine.

Yes, as long as the English Department has everything I feel okay. The incomplete/complete thing is more of a tedious admin thing.

I had the same problem!!!

I had to send them 3 emails until they decided to complete my application (my GRE scores were missing...)

They just updated mine. I don't know why they couldn't do it initially. It took all of about two minutes. Oy vey.
