I know these dates are pretty meaningless, except as general guidelines for the notification window, but the sooner the better - esp. for folks who have to resubmit! I think I might disable my internet for large chunks of time today...and hide my iphone...maybe I should just call it a day already go back to sleep Good luck, everyone! I can think of three ways to interpret it (from best to worst): (1) WG is ready to fund you, but it wants to know if it can lay some of the cost to other organizations. (2) WG has narrowed down their candidates a second time. While not all of us in this smaller group will receive funding, WG would like additional information from us. (3) WG send this email to everyone who made it past the preliminary review they completed (and notified us about) several months ago. The email indicates nothing about our rank among the second round group. Can anyone get some intel about this from other people in their program? I guess their #1 and #2 are possible. Trying to decide whether to give up hope now. Has anyone ever received a W-G after NOT getting this budget update email?
