Alun Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Asking for help from people with experience...I'm targeting at 2013 fall admission, and the application cycle will probably start in Sept. My TOEFL score is gonna expire on 28th, August, shortly before the cycle officially starts. Can I still use it for 2013 fall admission if I have ETS delivered my score before it expired? Will the score be considered valid during the material-reviewing process (when the cycle is closed)?
chaetzli Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 In most cases it must be valid until shortly after the application deadline. You can find the information for the TOEFL requirements on the university's webpages (FAQs). Or you can always ask the admission office.
Frenchy29 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 One of my friend had huge problems with TOEFL scores, that were not valid anymore( the TOEFL has to be valid after the application). Her applications were not processed because of that. To save you money and stress, I would recommend you to re-take it!
yashkarandikar Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I am applying for Fall 2013. I have given my TOEFL in June 2011.. Will it be considered valid ? Is the 2-year validity w.r.t the application deadline or the start of the 1st semester ?
kaykaykay Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Scores muct be valid till after the application deadline. If you are in doubt you should ask the schools directly though.
