Georgetown University phd in Applied Linguistics 2012

Hi everyone, I have applied to phd in applied linguistics at Georgetown University. Is there anyone who have heard from the program or any other phd programs in applied linguistics/second language acquisition/second language studies? I think I am searching in the right board, but not many people talk about applied linguistics.

I feel panic not to hear from any school so far, but I am still waiting.

Hi! I also applied to the applied linguistics department, and have not heard back. Since Dr. Mackey is on sabbatical this semester, someone else is doing the admissions, hence it's taking longer than usual.

As far as SLA programs, I received an offer from

Carnegie Mellon and someone else on this board received one from UMD. Did you apply there?
