Has anyone heard back from GATech or UMich?

Still waiting for those two. Got answers from CMU, Washington, UPenn, UMass, and UCF.

If you mean M.S. CS, then I guess not. Ph.D. admits had gone out though. I applied pretty late to both of them, and not expecting a decision any time soon. In fact, applying late is a big disadvantage for GaTech at least, from what I've heard, since they have rolling admissions. Anyway, my status on buzzport changed to Action - Dept. Decision Pending (from No decision has been made), and under the Application Checklist, a new line popped up. It says Visa/I-20 Missing and Required. It doesn't mean much, and I confirmed this by mailing them, but at least it moved one step in their processing pipeline.

@sinerged when did you apply for upenn and which program. When did you receive d decision?

@finknottle My status in Buzzport is still "No Decision has Been Made"; by now I don't have much hope of having been accepted.

@tanki768 I applied for UPenn CIS PhD program on December 13, and got the decision (Not Accepted) a couple of weeks ago.

GATech already had their recruitment weekend for PhD prospectives. I don't know about UMich, unfortunately.

UMich has their Phd recruitment weekend this weekend, so unfortunately I don't think there's a good chance of any further Phd admits (if there are anymore it would only be a small number). I'm not sure about Master's admits.

Where do you got this information? And if true, do you have any idea of when? Buzzport is still showing "No Decision Has Been Made" for me.

My sis has an admit from GT (me too!). Dept head mailed her few days back to know her decision. coz if she declines (which she did), they can look for others. I also got a similar, but a more pushy mail from POI.

BTW, she was in CSE and I got into IC school.
