How many people are applying to HCI?

Well I'm doing an HCI related undergrad program and plan on applying to HCI grad programs next year.

well, a decent amount of HCI people are not cs majors and so maybe there are some others in some of the other forum categories.

I am doing HCI specialty, however it is in an ischool not a cs department.

Hey. I applied for HCI PhD programs. I have received rejects from Michigan and Berkeley till now. Waitin for the rest. I was looking for HCI ppl as well in the forums but had a hard time. Best of luck and keep in touch.

where else did you apply? were you applying to the interactive systems group in UMich?

I applied to most of the ISchools and a couple of standalone HCI Depts. I had applied for the SocialWorlds Research Group at UMich. Not that it matters anymore .

Sup y'all. I've applied to a bunch of HCI masters programs. So far rejected from Berkeley. Still waiting on CMU MHCI, Media Lab, Stanford and U of T.
