gfl212
So I was rejected from my top choice and was devastated and kind of had a meltdown, but I got in to Harvard and I think I am going to officially accept their offer. It's unbelievably exciting! I never thought I would ever say "I go to Harvard" but I am going to do it! I am absolutely terrified and sad to leave NYC (which is where I have been living for the past 5 years), but I am excited for a new adventure. I have a serious boyfriend here in NY and I am not sure how that's going to work out, and I get so sad thinking about being away from him. We both cried last night thinking about how we're going to be apart... But what is two years, right?? Congrats to everyone and best of luck in your graduate school careers! Sarahmarie
Congrats and good luck to you! I don't think you can go wrong with Harvard!
coffeeplease
New York to Boston is an easy bus ride (and cheap if you take the Chinatown bus - $15 the last time I did that, which was a couple of years ago). If you're committed to making it work, you can definitely do it!
