I think that really depends on the school but some may not follow that April 15th deadline, especially if they do rolling admission.

I'm waiting for 4/7 application results... I need to know before April 15th since I'm currently applying to a scholarship that requires the acceptance letter/email !!

I applied to eight schools with deadlines between January 1st and March 15th. I haven't heard from a SINGLE ONE. And when I say haven't heard, I mean NOTHING. Not for interviews, nothing past "We have your stuff, don't call us, we'll call you." I'm officially in panic mode.

April 15th seems to be the norm. The person I talked to at UW indicated it's an agreement across grad schools.

Did all of you get letters indicating you were waitlisted? I had to bug the department before they'd tell me, as the faculty decided not to send out letter to waitlisted people.

I'm still waiting for 4 of 4 myself, 3 of them I know I'm still in Departmental Review.

That just means I'm on their list but they have others they wanted first and their waiting to hear from them

before they send me an offer.

^^ The results search is actually kind of helpful for that. It's a relief knowing that decisions were not out at this time last year. Small victories?
