...that there are A LOT of results for Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology?

There are over FIFTY entries in the first 500 entries. That's more than 10%.

Is there a troll in our midst?

I think it's a growing field, which is why there are so many people going into it.

Most of the schools I applied to had over 400 applicants and I've heard some schools had over 600...so yeah, just a lot of us

heh, i was wondering this too. thanks for addressing this, guys. im going into communication/media studies, so when i typed 'communication' in the results search box the past week or so i would mentally shake my fist at the communication disorders/speech pathology entries. now i know that these are legitimate folk legitimately getting accepted and rejected. just like me.

Haha - no trolls!

There are a lot of people *trying* to get into the field, at least. Like nursing, or so I've heard, there is a demand in the workforce but not enough schools (yet) to crank out enough of us. And it's viciously competitive so I guess a lot of us depend on the internet for advice and networking!
