objectivityofcontradiction Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Is there such a thing? Taking the test next week; been studying 2-3 hours a day for the past six weeks, don't want to fry my brain this last week.
emmm Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 If you are consistently getting scores you are happy with, stop studying. You're not going to forget everything at this point.
habanero Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Take a break for a few days, and then do a bit more studying a few days before the exam. The day before, just chill out. The day of, go over a few math and vocab problems to calm your nerves. emmm is right--you've done all the hard work. Your brain won't fail you all of a sudden! psychgurl 1
mirandaw Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 It also depends on your comfort level with the material and your study habits. I also did about 3 hours per day for 6-8 weeks ahead of time, and it was fine. I studied the day before the test because my math scores were all over the place and it helped me feel like i was accomplishing something, but took my time and relaxed the day of (I had an afternoon session).
psychgurl Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 I would take it easy, but as others have mentioned, maybe warm up your brain a little before the test with medium-level questions. This will also boost your confidence. Good luck!
