ten-of-swords
I am waitlisted at SVA, I'm not expecting anything honestly. Last year I was waitlisted at Cranbrook for printmedia and they told me that I was the top person on it, so I actually got accepted about a week of being waitlisted. What made you decide to turn down Cranbrook last year and reapply this year?
jldstudio
Every person that gets multiple acceptances is going to have to turn down some spots.. And they still have time to decide so it's always possible things are still going to open up!

Well I guess if I got in to both I would be turning one of them down
frez83
Yeah, I can see why you would be concerned about what to do. You should still have some time to make your decision so I'd wait it out. You're right very few people turn down places like Bard or Columbia, but it does happen. Good luck! I am on the wait list at Rutgers so I'm holding out hope to come off a list too. Good luck with Rutgers! I have heard great things about their program. Do you know if all programs timeline are the same? when do applicants have to give there dissections in by? Do you know if all programs timeline are the same? when do applicants have to give there dissections in by? Thanks! From what I can tell most schools use April 15th as a timeline to make a decision, but not all schools use this date. For example, I know Rutgers gave people April 2nd as the date. When did Hunter and SAIC give you to decide by? If its April 15th I'd say hold out until then at least. Unless you know for sure you don't want to go to either SAIC or Hunter already, because if you already know you won't go to one for sure thn I'd let them know soon just so people on their wait list can hear sooner.
