Hi,

Applied to UT Austin for Fall but haven't heard from them till now. Should I be worried? Has everyone who applied to UT got their reply? I am international student. Do you think there is a delay because of this?

Every department is different, every degree and program is also different in regards to timelines. I received my PhD notification from UT in January but that was for a PhD in Comm. I have heard others waiting until March for a PhD in another program. the only thing you can do is call up and ask. It is a normal question. I suggest asking the graduate coordinator and not just any professor because the grad coordinator's job (part of the job) is to answer questions regarding apps/decisions/logistics.

Good luck.

I applied to UT at Arlington and still haven't heard either. I had e-mailed them a little while back and said they normally make their decisions are this time. It seems like they are slow in Texas.

The Texas programs are definitly behind. I just received a rejection from SMU and only received my rejection from UT this past week or so. I am still waiting on Texas A&M, Rice and Oklahoma. Waiting is really killing me, especially knowing that the remaining schools are probably rejections as well. Good luck to all those still waiting and congrats to those that were privledged enough to be accepted.

If anybody has any news on these geology programs please let us know.

Thanks
