I received a rather suprising email that wants payment from me. I have a tuition waiver. I do not want to mislead someone. Tuition waiver waives your tuition. And it was. Now I need to call the bursar's office to day to ask about this:

Charge Amt Charge Due Dt Charge Description Reference #

$4665.00 08/27/2012 Grad OS Tuition

I think my tuition waiver will waive this also but I was amazed to receive this email. What do you think? What is Grad OS Tuition? Lol... I have never paid that much money as an international before. I really wonder what is going on... :-) I can not pay that all of a sudden either... And I never heard about something like this :-)

I do not want to mislead prospective applicants. USA is a real good country in academic research, possibilities and assistantships it provide. This is just like some kind of suprise :-)

Often tuition charges gets posted before the department allocates the credit. I wouldn't stress about it, as it is pretty normal. Check with your department if you are concerned.

Sometimes I don't get the payments posted until midway through the semester, but the school always takes care of interest, etc.

It's usually a good policy to e-mail and check, however.

Definitely check on it, but my uni has a deferment option for those getting financial aid and such since the tuition payment deadline is before the first day of classes and financial aid isn't disbursed until after the first day.

Ok guys, I am relieved. Even if it says ''tuition'', they told to me that it has nothing to do with tuition. I called the bursar's office and they told me that it is the payment that i need to do for my apartment governed by the university. Yay! :-)))
