Hi All, I recently got an offer from SDSU MSW - Advanced Standing Program(1 yr), that begin this summer 2013. I have a offer from UT Arlington for 2 yr program DP and waiting for University of Houston offer. Do you guys know the standard of MSW program in SDSU. I heard its a party school and the education standard is not that good. Thought I will able to complete by MSW in one year at SDSU , I am worried about job prospect latter and also the kind of education there. Please advise.

I was put on the wailtlist for SDSU yesterday (recieved an email).  If anyone was admitted and has decided they will not attend SDSU, please let them know!  This was the only program I applied to and I would love for a spot to become available. Anyone else get any news??

SDSU is a party school for undergrad.  It is different at the graduate level.  It really is a great school and people are starting to recognize that.  Many of the programs are nationally recognized.  I know that the MSW program is ranked 60th in the nation.

Also, I found that it was interesting that they asked for GRE and all the other schools I applied to didn't.
