Also it helps that I have had a couple of interview offers and I knew a rejection was going to come sooner than later. I'm so anxious for this first interview experience, and hopefully after the first, I will ease my nerves and maybe other peoples' nerves as well. I am!! I'm actually sitting at the airport right now! mrmolecularbiology Posted January 17, 2013 Share Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) I asked UW-Madison about attending an alternative date as their schedule weekend overlapped with one I had already scheduled. Been almost a week and the only reply I have received was that they would need to talk to the chair. Not sure what to make of the situation. Also, I'm still waiting on my rejections from Princeton, UChicago, and Harvard. (I know that I was told that adcoms are still looking at apps for Princeton and UChicago, but I have a feeling that just means I'm sitting in a reject pile.) Is there a particular reason why some of these schools take their sweet time sending out rejections? Is it so they can replace people who can't make it to interviews if need be?
