George Washington IO program

I am wondering if anyone else one here is interested in the GW IO program, has already applied, has already been accepted, or just has some information for me. I have looked over their website several times but I am looking for other things that are not readily found on the web page. If anyone replies to any aspect of this post I will happily provide more detailed information for discussion. Thank you!

Did you name a specific professor that you wanted to work with or just inform them of your research interests? Also, did you contact anyone there ahead of time or just apply? I hear mixed opinions as to whether or not that is a good thing to do. I am also wondering if anyone there is studying virtual training. Thanks, and good luck with your applications!

Yes, I did name a couple of professors in my SOP that I would like to work with, whom I had contacted before I submitted my application. Hope this helps! Best of luck to you!

GWU also has a program called Human and Organizational Learning. You might want to consider it as an alternative to the I/O program.
