IO guy-o Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Hello, I am wondering if anyone else one here is interested in the GW IO program, has already applied, has already been accepted, or just has some information for me. I have looked over their website several times but I am looking for other things that are not readily found on the web page. If anyone replies to any aspect of this post I will happily provide more detailed information for discussion. Thank you!
ILuvPsych2013 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Hi there! I just submitted my application to GWU's I-O program...what info are you looking for?
IO guy-o Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 Did you name a specific professor that you wanted to work with or just inform them of your research interests? Also, did you contact anyone there ahead of time or just apply? I hear mixed opinions as to whether or not that is a good thing to do. I am also wondering if anyone there is studying virtual training. Thanks, and good luck with your applications!
ILuvPsych2013 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Yes, I did name a couple of professors in my SOP that I would like to work with, whom I had contacted before I submitted my application. Hope this helps! Best of luck to you! IO guy-o 1
Zorah Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 GWU also has a program called Human and Organizational Learning. You might want to consider it as an alternative to the I/O program.
IO guy-o Posted February 1, 2013 Author Posted February 1, 2013 Thanks, I will look into that. Is it more of an OB type degree?
