... Yes.

I have been waiting all of my life to legitimately buy/wear a Cory Matthews red hat. Don't let me down, Penn.

Off topic, but I'm just saying, my boyfriend and I just spent a month or so watching all seven seasons of BMW, so this made me really happy.

I just listened to your link below Whistler. Nice song. Wasn't familiar with it.

Thanks :D

<fangirling> Jethro Tull is probably my favorite band in the universe. </fangirling>

Anyways, congratulations people who got Penn, I'm really, insanely jealous. :)

Hey don't dismiss Philly. It has an amazing restaurant scene (some say better than New York). It's totally walkable and the people are very nice. Unlike New York.

Totally. Philly is absolutely my favourite East Coast (ish) city, I love it and would be super excited to move there, if that possibility arose.

For those of you whose applications are still "pending" at Madison, are you just waiting patiently or do you think it's worth contacting the admissions office? I am assuming it means waitlist at this point (or maybe a flat out rejection) but I wish I knew. On the other hand, I don't want to be a pain in the ass. Rational or irrational reservation?

Someone (ugh can't keep all of us straight sorry guys) contacted the DGS and got a confirmation of a waitlist.

Hi hi, I emailed Robyn Shanahan on Friday (2/15) but haven't heard anything back yet. I will definitely let you know if/when I get some news, although it may only pertain to my app. That is, I don't necessarily assume that I'm on the waitlist just because someone else got that news, hah. I hope that's what it means, though!

Congrats to everyone who's made it in recently! The Penn State acceptances have made me so jumpy. I freaked out a few minutes ago because I was getting a call from an area code I didn't recognize.....and then it turned out to be a telemarketer. Anyone else having heart-attack-inducing false alarms?

Haha, yes, this keeps happening to me! Normally I don't answer phone calls from numbers that aren't already in my phone, but just for the past week or so I keep getting tricked into it. I think deep down in my heart I know it's not a department calling me, but I'm so desperate for ANY kind of news. The worst!

Same goes for spam/gray mail messages. I posted this elsewhere, I know, but I've probably unsubscribed from at least 20 mailing lists since February 6th.

Can anyone claim the Columbia acceptance? And if you can, was it a personalized email or a mass one? This seems like a sign that they are finished making their decisions, in which case I just want to know if not getting that email equates to being rejected.

Donthate maybe?
