ljagavi Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 (edited) Today I emailed 3 programs whose decisions I was awaiting and 2 of those (Penn, USC) told me I was not admitted, but Toronto told me I'm on the waiting list. So, for all of you waiting for late decisions, I think by this time all of them can tell you what's your app status. Not getting a response this late most likely means they just didn't bother to inform you of rejection, but still there is a chance you are on the waiting list (of which they didn't bother to inform you either). Not getting a response this late most likely means they just didn't bother to inform you of rejection, but still there is a chance you are on the waiting list (of which they didn't bother to inform you either). i agree with this. recently reached out to my remaining schools, and ended up having an informal skype chat with one of the DGS's. also, apparently UCLA and Michigan likely have you on their waitlist if you haven't been notified of anything (from a source at neither of those schools).

Word. I called Michigan today because I hadn't heard anything from them, and I'm on their wait list. I know they admitted seven people, and there are four or five of us in limbo. Is anyone else in this situation?

I'm on the "waitlist" at Toronto as well. I was told last month. I can't decide if "waitlist" means "those waiting for our rejection letter."
