NCSU Statistics Program?

Hello! I'm interested in the general opinion of NCSU's Statistics Program.

 

I'm interested in attending an applied program with good post-graduate job placement.

I've heard of NCSU as a very good Applied Stats department. I'm not sure about the specifics of how many graduates go on to academia versus industry, but in terms of reputation it's up there in the top 10-15 at least.

I rank NC State as a top 10 department. It's strong in several areas, including spatial statistics.

I live in NC and although I go to UNC I've had the chance to take a couple of classes at State. They definitely have a very good department with a few people working in just about any discipline you can think of. The only knock I have againt State personally is that they seem to be pretty good at everything but they aren't superb at any one thing if that makes any sense.
