Cats4Lyfe Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Hi. Northwestern is in my top three for the political theory phd work! I'd love it if peeps could share why they're choosing/might choose Northwestern for whatever field, anything about Chicago/Evanston, etc.
hiroshiman Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 (edited) Hi there. I've officially accepted my offer, and will be going to Northwestern this Fall! Edited March 4, 2013 by hiroshiman
hiroshiman Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I'm going for historical musicology and chose the school based on the overall reputation of the music program as well as a strong fit with the faculty based on my research interests. Chicago being such an amazing and vibrant city put it over the top. I'm leaning towards finding an apartment in Rogers Park. Its much cheaper than Evanston and I'd rather be in the city in any case. What are everyone's plans for housing?
Tazo11 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 I will most likely be attending Northwestern in the Fall of 2013! I was accepted; however, I haven't made my final decision yet. I am from Chicago so I am excited about the prospects of living back in the area!
judowrestler1 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 I'll be attending in their statistics PhD program

aaa63 Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Hey Everyone, I will most likely be attending Northwestern in the fall for my Masters in Biomedical Engineering. I'm from Ohio and would like to find out more about the best places to live and get to know other grad students!
