Lagan Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 I am a final year engineering student. I am pursuing Information Technology as a major in my undergrad studies. I wish to apply for Biology related courses for my grad studies. Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Genetics are my prime interest areas. I have looked up the universities offering Bioinformatics as a course and they do not require a subject GRE score but, since I come from a completely different background( non-biology) would it be beneficial for me to take the subject GRE test in Biology? If I take only the GRE standard test and apply, is there a chance that I would qualify? I'd really appreciate inputs on the best approach to take and what to do in order to maximise by chances of selection. Many thanks P.S. I am an international applicant.
stephchristine0 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Why not try taking a practice test? Taking/prepping for a test may help your science skills dramatically.
