Who gets offer from Delaware?

I am waitlisted by Delaware, and it is said that I do not have a chance unless two people reject their offers.

Could anyone tell me about my chances?

Who gets offer from Delaware and are you going to reject it?

Hey! I doubt this is of much help, as I don't have specifics. But I was waitlisted, then about to be accepted (they said there were nearly sure they'd find funding for me), but I withdrew from my spot. So maybe that's one of the two you need?

I wish I knew more, but they didn't tell me a whole lot. But good luck! There's some really cool work being done in that department.

Hi Everyone,

I have been accepted to UDel with full funding (TAship tuition, stipend, partial health care). I visited the program a few weeks ago, and I was very impressed. It's a great program in my opinion. The faculty was great, very enthusiastic about my research, and I got along really well with the students in the program. It seems like a good fit for my interests (syntax, psycholinguistics, lg. acquisition, and adult processing). Right now, I do have offers from other programs, but I am seriously considering accepting UDel's offer.

To the others that have been admitted: have you visited? if so, what was impression of the program, the profs, the students, the campus, newark?

Hi! Thanks for letting us know. Glad to hear that you love the program. I like it too, and my research interest aligns very closely with that of Prof. Golinkoff. However, I am not as lucky as you are; I am just waitlisted. Whether I could be accepted relies on the decision of you guys who already got offers. I kind of hope that one of you guys could reject Delaware so that I could get in, haha.

Wondering why anyli_t was waitlisted with a possibility of funding...Anyway, I was impressed by Gaby and Jeff who interviewed me over the phone. I think I will receive the offer. So Experi-mentalist, perhaps we will see each other in Newark.
