karish11 Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Are there any Speech Language Pathology programs accepting applicants in Winter 2013? I'm still waiting to her back from a few schools for Fall 2013, but I want to look into other options if I don't get in (after a few rejections..it starts to hit you) I graduated with a bachelors in Psychology so I haven't taken any of the pre-requisites required for most SLP programs. I'm torn between applying for the Winter term or just taking a year off to finish my pre-requisites and then apply again for Fall 2014.
queenleblanc Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Most if the programs I researched only accept in-field applicants in the winter/spring semester, maybe someone else has other ideas for you? You can keep doing pre-reqs and apply as out of field with pre-reqs which lines you up with the in-field students for nother fall, or spring semester in the future! In any case, best of luck to you!!
SLPtoBEweee Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I have heard that UT Dallas accepts for Spring semester. Not sure if you have to be in-field for that or not.
karish11 Posted March 19, 2013 Author Posted March 19, 2013 Thanks! I'll definitely check out UT Dallas and keep looking to see what there is!
katieliz456 Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Baylor accepts students for Spring semester. I'm not sure how competitive it is for that term, but it might be worth a try
