Love the Sun Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I'm applying later this year to University of Hawaii at Manoa and currently taking all of the pre-reqs (online, through Utah State). One of the pre-reqs UH Manoa requires is an Intro to Communication Disorders class, which, at Utah State is COMD 2600, but they don't offer it online. Of the few other universities with online classes I've looked at, none seem to offer this intro class. Does anyone know of one? Did the rest of you have to take one? It seems to be distinct from any anatomy, audiology, language development stuff and is just kind of an overview class. Thanks!

CO (soon to be) SLP Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I took mine at Eastern New Mexico online; it was actually a very good class
Love the Sun Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Thanks for the quick responses! It looks like I'll be able to figure something out.
Physsci Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I am required to take a physical science course online/independant study over the summer. My University will no longer be accepting my Astronomy course due to the new ASHA changes effective 2014. I do not have a background in physics or chemistry, and was hoping that someone might be aware of a pass/fail course that is designed for non-science students. Any help would be much appreciated.
hopefulspeechie16 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Did anyone find a good online course for this requirement?

My university, Wayne state university, offers a chem class geared towards non science majors. That's what I took and it was online.
