bbann001 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Hey guys, I had a question that I was hoping you could help me answer. I want to clarify that THIS IS NOT ABOUT REVERSE DISCRIMINATION OR AFFIRMATIVE ACTION nor is it a criticism or argument for the programs. I was scrolling through edfind viewing programs and I was just wondering how being a minority serving institution, ie. historically black universities or hispanic serving institutions, effects admissions, if at all, if you are a non-minority student applying to one of these schools? Thanks!
Tuck Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I don't know anything about Hispanic-serving institutions, but HBCUs are open to all and do not use race as part of their admissions process.
