windypoplars Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Does anyone know who's researching the topic that Benjamin Libet left off? The topic is on the timing of conscious will, where the brain activates to perform in a certain way prior to the conscious will deciding to perform in a certain way
lewin Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Thalia Wheatley at Dartmouth has some stuff on this, I saw her talk at SPSP last year. They do hypnosis studies, among other things.
Arcadian Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 No I don't, but I am a big fan of his work. I would love to work in that research area. Let me know if you end up doing the same.
Guest ||| Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 A good way of answering such questions is to track down the individuals papers, and see who cited them. Check those papers, see if its in the realm you are interested in, and from there, you have someone who you could consider.
