GPA and higher education administration masters and PhD programs

Hi guys,

I recently changed my major from the sciences to political science. I am aspiring to apply to higher ed masters programs after graduation.

Can someone give me general GPA averages or assumed averages for higher ed admin programs? I'm looking at top schools. Everything else is steller, GPA is my only concern.

Also, how big of a factor would withdrawn courses play on application? I'm thinking about withdrawing from two courses that I no longer need or want(due to major change). I'm involved in other things that I would like to put my time into. Since these two science courses will not bring me any closer to graduation, I don't see the need in them..but it will drop my course load considerably - I'm already part-time with one drop.
