MeanMrMustard
So Ive gotten accepted (and hoping to be accepted) to the listed univerisities and institutions for one form of intl Development. Im just trying to figure out which one is the best choice. Denver and UCSD are a bit more policy than practical based than the other two but hold much more prestige. SIT and Monterey are probably closer in line with what exactly I want to do (work in SB development in L.A. through microfinance org) but I wondering if getting the degrees from UCSD or UD will be more benefitical in helping me get a job. UCSD in the MPPA (Pacific Public Affairs) does focus on L.A. which is great but again much more policy driven. Im just a bit lost as to whats the best choice here. All of them are going to cost me about the same so thats not really an issue. Also, does anyone know a bit more about SIT located in Washington DC or Monterey Institute located in Monterey, CA? They are both private and, in my uneducated opinion, do not hold the same status as the other univiersities. Am I wrong? Thanks!
