letter of recommendation package

Hi,

how did you guys create your letter of rec package? Im thinking of typing up all the information they need, placing everything inside their individual envelopes and then shipping it to my letter writers?

I did that, but used email. My logic being that the rec. process is all online and electronic documents may be easier for them to handle.

I used email, too. I sent them a list with deadlines and a short introduction to the programs, as well as my SoP (only one of them) to familiarize them with my current research interests, my CV, and the forms that some programs require.
