IHEID (Graduate Institute) vs. Oxford - PhD International Relations/Political Science

I have applied to IHEID and Univ. of Oxford for a PhD in International Relations for 2014-2015 start.  Is anyone else also applying to those institutions, or has anyone applied in the past?  What was your experience like with the admission's process?

Hello Bluebird,

I have applied to IHEID for master in Development Studies. I too started a topic for people to come talk together about these schools. Here is the link to it.

As of now we are three people sharing out our anxieties together.

Thanks for sharing!  Good luck with you as well  Did you already submit your application?  I submitted mine earlier this semester.  Have you heard anything back from the university?

Thank you for your wishes too. Yes I already have submitted my application for early admission consideration. Also, after talking to their representatives, they mentioned how everyone should know their result before Christmas. *Fingers Crossed*
