myoranges Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 (edited) Greetings everyone, I am a recent graduate from UC Berkeley, with 3.736 (3.901 for major) GPA in engineering. I am applying to various master's degree programs in industrial engineering (with an exception of one school where I am applying to a program called 'technology and policy'). However, my GRE scores perhaps correlate slightly less with my academic work (sorry Mr. Berkeley for exposing you to an international opprobrium :/). I was heavily involved with research + consulting projects this year (3 in the spring, continued 2 in the fall), and I think I overlooked how depressingly slow and congested my nerve system can be when it comes to test-taking. As I traversed across mountains of anxiety, I was relieved to hear that my GRE scores may not necessarily indicate that I am illiterate (since the admissions committee would also pay attention to my statement of purpose, etc -- even though I grew up fairly dyslyexiic), especially with my unique penmanship. SO, here are my scores: Oct 2013: 148V (36%) / 166Q (93%) / 3.5W (35%) Nov 2013: 154V (62%) / 167Q (95%) / 4.5W (78%) Dec 2013: 152V (53%) / 170Q (98%) / ??? W I am highly hesitant about submitting my December scores. However, I am not sure if submitting October and November scores may suggest my potential for improvement in GRE had I only studied more. I know it's a busy time of the year for everyone, but just fancy that WONDROUS HOOZAH moment when you boldly click that last "submit application" button. Ignite your mind and spirit on fire, and push through -- your well-earned break after submitting your applications is just around the corner! Edited December 14, 2013 by myoranges
TakeMyCoffeeBlack Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Send Nov and Dec? Otherwise, I'd suggest only Nov, since it's only a three percentile difference on Quant but 12% different on Verbal. Queen of Kale and myoranges 2

Thank you for your suggestion! Oops, found out that my verbal is actually 53% -- not that 3% difference really fills me with thrill or anything haha... Edited December 14, 2013 by myoranges
