DeafAudi
I'm sure that this is a question that has been asked many times but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. While I was doing my research on ASHA, I found that sometimes the number of people who were offered funding were more than the number of people who actually accepted. Does this mean that as people decline their offer (with funding), the offer goes to someone else on the list and essentially everyone who ends up accepting end up being funded? Or does the money just go back to the school or to people who are on the wait list? I'm quite concerned about funding because I am an international applicant and will not qualify for in-state tuition anywhere. Thanks!
pqo309
It probably differs for each school, but I know Nebraska-Lincoln will recirculate the funding of people who don't accept admission. Also, AuD funding is generally much more generous that SLP funding.
DeafAudi
OK, thanks for your reply! I considered applying to Nebraska-Lincoln but decided not to in the end. Hopefully the other schools do the same.
