Reminding Letter Writers

Once our applications have been submitted, how often should we be hitting the "resend" to remind our letter of rec writers? What is too much? I'm thinking once every five or six days might be ok….any thoughts?

I think I waited like a week or 2 when I applied.  

Most of my LORs got them in within the first week but I waited a week to remind a few. I always tried to do it on weekends also because they have more free time.  It worked for me but all this depends on your deadline,I got mine in like way before the deadline because I wanted to be done with it.  Goodluck!!

Thanks for the reply. This process always feels like herding cattle! Unfortunately only one of mine got the letter in within the first week. The weekend is a good idea. Thanks again!
