TheLochNessMobster Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 If this is not the right forum for this question, please let me know where I should post it instead. Thanks! I am hoping to apply to a PhD program for Zoology after graduating with a B.S. in Biology, and I'm trying to find 5 or so universities to apply to. Could anyone share insight about which schools have the best Zoology programs? I'm already planning on applying to Michigan State, University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin, and University of Miami. I would definitely be more interested in a school in the Midwest (I live in Michigan) but I'm not limited by location. Thank you in advance!
VioletAyame Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 You should post this in the Biology forum instead. On the main page, scroll all the way down to The Menu > Life Sciences > Biology. I suspect an admin can help you move your thread over there, but it's probably quicker and more efficient to create a new thread yourself and delete this one if possible.
RedPill Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 You should first consider fit as well. This may help: http://chronicle.com/article/NRC-Rankings-Overview-Animal/124701/ http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-science-schools/biological-sciences-rankings (use specialty rankings) http://www.timeshighereducation.co.uk/world-university-rankings/ Maybe this? http://graduate-school.phds.org/rankings/zoology/rank/basic
