PvZ 2 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Yesterday I found that several people received official emails congratulating their admittance from the program I applied to. I then wrote to the program coordinator asking if I had already been rejected but received no reply. This morning I read that another applicant received an response from the department to his query the same as mine, telling him that he had been rejected. So I wrote another one, but still received no reply. I was thus wondering if this might indicate that I have actually been wait-listed. Thanks!
JackOfStyle Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 It's hard to tell. Of course, it's very possible that you're wait-listed seeing as you haven't heard one thing or another yet. I think it would be best to call the program rather than email - you're more likely to get an answer.
Loric Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) Or they very well may not be done. You're not rejected until you're rejected.. don't hope for it faster, you just might provoke them into granting your wish. Edited January 28, 2014 by Loric astaroth27 1
PvZ 2 Posted January 29, 2014 Author Posted January 29, 2014 Thanks for your replies! Yes I guess I should have called them, but from now on I think I will just wait a while in case that I do not "provoke them."
SocInTheCity Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 It could mean so many things. I would advise you to NOT fill up their inbox with too many emails. Give them 2-3 days to respond and THEN call.
