I am kind of bummed out that the schools I am applying to don't do interviews. I think an interview would really give me a chance to shine and express who I am. As well as give me the opportunity to explain why I belong at the program. I have a very outgoing personality and my supervisors, peers, and professors all say that it is my strength. So, I think an interview would actually increase my chances on getting into a program. Weird, I know.

Are you sure they don't do interviews? Some might not say it is required but if you look like you have potential, but they want to know more about you they could ask for an interview. I know a friend of mine when to WashU for a visit and had a formal interview while there. On their website they recommend you visit campus, so I think they assume if you want an interview you will schedule it yourself.

Was that Washington State University or University of Washington?

That is interesting none the less. Interestingly, I will be in Washington for an completely unrelated reason but that may motivate me to stay an extra day. I just found this: http://depts.washington.edu/sphsc/sitewide/pdfs/Visit_Guidelines.pdf on their website.
