coffee_maniac Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Yesterday, I received wait list from Boston COllege, master's program. It is One of my dream programs. Is waitlist for BC usually a kind rejection letter or there is still hope? Any thoughts?
k_angie Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Well I have no clue about Boston Colleges wait list result probability. Though I would like to say that being wait listed isn't that bad and you do have a fair chance of being admitted. Good luck!
PsychGirl1 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I think that it's far too variable to say. Since I think the BC master's program is small (I think the year I applied, they took 2 students), it would really depend on whether or not those 2 people accept or decline, which is impossible to put a probability on! Good luck!
guagua Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I think you can contact professors to check your rankings. If you are No.1 on the waiting list it is just like an admission. Good luck!
ii_whm Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) I've been told it's completely okay to ask where you are on the waitlist. E-mail back whoever told you that you were on the waitlist and ask Edited February 6, 2014 by ii_whm
