AuDorBust Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Has anyone gotten notification of admissions decision via email or snail mail and it doesn't show up on the school's portal? Neither of the schools I have heard from show up when you check the website. They still say pending.

Neither of the schools I have heard from show up when you check the website. They still say pending. Maybe it hasn't made it yet to the graduate school department for updating. Hopefully it will be soon
deci:belle Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Yeah same here. I think what happens when you get accepted is that the program/department accepts you. But then you have to wait for the actual Graduate College to accept you formally to make it official.
AuDorBust Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 So, when I actually told a school I was going (Iowa) my portal was updated to show I was admitted. The department didn't tell graduate admission I was admitted until I accepted their offer.
