Shall I write a letter to the school after being notified of acceptance

Hi guys,

I received a notification of acceptance (through web) last Friday and not sure whether/how I shall write something back to the school. Who shall I write to? What shall I say apart from thank-you? How is it usually fomulated?

It's Chicago Divinity Masters, one of my two top choices, but I cann't accept it now as it is almost unlikely that I can cover the tuition (50%) for it...

It probably doesn't matter much either way; it wouldn't be rude to wait to respond until you've made a decision about whether or not to attend. Personally, I'd probably only contact them if you have some questions about their program.

My e-mail asked me to confirm the receipt so I just wrote a short "thank you for the offer" mail back.
